so definitely Facebook is all i have time for. but i miss Xanga. those were the good ole days. actually... lol, they weren't "good," they sucked. glancing through some of these old things reminds me of how worthless life used to be. Xanga is an enigmatic place.

So now I'm about to graduate college. Wow. Time flies. My friends are all totally different. This is my last summer to live in Hot Springs. Or Arkansas... I'm finally older, which is nice. I still live with my parents (okay, only when I'm not in school).

So ummm, yeah...

yay! we get to sleep in til 10am!!!!!!!! which is the equivalent of a weekend, day off, vacation, and company lunch all in one! i mean that's like 1 1/2 hours off! that's incredible! whew!

so i'm in charge of figuring out smoothies and coffee for Jamaican Me Crazy and Coffee House. so far its been swell. i've met with success thanks to my background for the last two years working at Wholly Grounds Coffee Shop @ Crossgate and, of course, a few well placed calls to my boss there, Anna (who is leaving for Conway in two weeks *sniff*)

i was kinda told that things here would simmer down after the Mexico trip. but since we've been back (sunday night) things have been just as heavy packed if not more so than before. which is kind of a bummer because the summer is almost over and i have lots of families that i want to spend a night eating dinner with if i could just find the time. i especially want to have another lunch with Sam Patton.

my dad came up for Sunday night when we returned from Mexico. we did half our skits and gave testimonies. it was an awesome night! i miss Mexico!!!!!!!!!!

Leyden is coming for the Sunday night cookout! Whoopie! A little taste of home! I'm pretty psyched about seeing Kyle and hearing Leyden!

I'm going to SILOAM SPRINGS! Much to Jack's dismay... i'm sad too because I was trying to get Kyle to stay and hang out and now i have to leave Monday at 9:30. its weird cuz the other interns aren't going. but i'm only going for a night. either way, Jamaican Me Crazy is Wed and its probably our biggest Wed night of the summer and i'll be missing half the preparations for it...

My sister and mother are in Guatemala but i think they get back tomorrow! i haven't talked with them since before I left for Mexico a couple weeks back.

Time flies! This is my 12th week @ Eagle Heights! WOW! I'm ready to get back to Ouachita and Crossgate and hit the ground running for both! I'm excited to be teaching the 10th grade boys @ Crossgate. @ Ouachita, I'll be taking tons of Christian Studies classes so that'll be rad.

anyways, my summer has been fun, HARD, amazing, a growing experience, a ministry experience, and a blessing from God!

PS - Ariel, that was all for you
